Have you ever wondered what it’s like to make a pair of boots? Enjoy a two-week learning vacation in historic Albuquerque, New Mexico and make your own boots with master bootmaker Deana McGuffin.

$3,500 covers two weeks of private instruction and use of all professional tools. Most materials are included but some materials such as exotic leathers are extra. Price does not include travel or housing expenses.

In 2006, one of Deana’s former students won second place at the Silver Dollar City Boot Contest in Branson, MO, for her boots made in Deana’s class.

Professional Bootmaking

Are you interested in becoming a professional bootmaker? Deana's two-week intensive bootmaking course guides you through the entire process from taking measurements to the final finish. Deana takes only one student at a time, so you get her full attention to your learning experience. The course fee is $3500.00. The fee includes materials for one pair of boots, some knives, patterns and templates and helpful resources. Follow-up instruction and consultation available.
